How can I view my svg files?

Post by gluestick »

I have tried Marly's instructions on her post dated Sept 26 2008 and I didn't have any luck. Can someone tell me how to do this step by step. When I downloaded the Renesis software and in view thumbnails all I see are the e's and not a picture of my file. I also downloaded Foxfire and still no luck what am I doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated I have so many svg's and I can't remember which is which.
Thanks
Katie

Is your operating system Vista by any chance? If it is, you're out of luck (which is just another thing that stinks about Vista!), but we can be hopeful that there will be a fix for that someday before the next OS comes out............ :)

I was having issues and I am using Windows XP so I got rid of Renisis and downloaded it again with the added Windows programs that were attached to the Renisis downloads and now have no trouble at all.

GREAT!!! You are sooooooo lucky to have a viewer! That's one thing I definitely miss about my last computer!

I use a Mac so Renesis is not an option, but my browser (Safari) will open SVG's. I just open a new window and choose open file and then navigate to my svg folder. I'm pretty sure most current browsers will open SVGS. Still wish there was a solution for thumbnails and QuickLook, though :(
