There are no plans for the new Eclips 2 to be sold in Europe so that is not an option. I want to be able to cut stencil plastic, cardstock, not vinyl.
What other machines at around the same price should I be looking at?
Merci
I don't really want to spend much more than the refund which is about £250 or $400 or so. I bought quite a lot of cartridges in a sale and more blades plus the massive postage costs to France (for some unknown reason very hard to find in France) so am at least £100 out of pocket. I will go and read the reviews suggested. Not looking like an easy choice at all! I don't really use it enough to justify an expensive machine.HeatherM wrote:I don't think that there are any other machines in that price range that will cut heavy materials, at least in the US. I guess it depends on what you consider that price range since I don't know what any of the machines go for in the UK. I think the lowest price machine for heavy materials is the KNK Zing. You should check what materials it can handle. I would also read a lot of reviews on it first, since I think I've heard both good and bad about it. I think the learning curve is much steeper than for the eClips or Cricut. The Zing only works with MTC so the MTC forum would be a good place to ask more questions about it.
