Cannot open SCAL 3 or 4

Has anyone experienced this before. I have SCAL 2,3, and 4. SCAL 2 is working fine. When I click on 3 & 4 I get the following error 'SCAL 4 has stopped working' then the logo disappears. I have been having some issues with my laptop. I get the following error when downloading/opening some programs 'ordinal 139 cannot be located in the dynamic link library'. I don't know if this affecting SCAL. I sent an email to Craft Edge support but was hoping someone here would have a quick fix. I saw on an older post someone suggesting to hold down the D key at the logo but that did not work.

The error appears to be incomplete.
"ordinal 139 cannot be located in the dynamic link library"
Should have indicated which dynamic link library it is referring to at the end of the message.

Which dynamic link library is the error for?

I am also having issues opening scal #4....I am at wits end
