How to Fix the Nodes

Post by cardclutter »

I have been working on this for a week for my niece. I think she now finds me hopeless. I am hoping someone can help me to get this to cut? Any pointers would help, please? I have attached a new file that now has a million nodes, still don't know how to get it to cut without taking an hour...?

The svg image has "open" lines and cannot be closed and is not worth any effort to fix.

I found the image online. You can download or capture the jpg file and trace in Inkscape or SCAL. I did find that there is some "garbage" in the trace in ecal and you need to break apart and pull the main image aside and delete the messy pieces.

It traced much better in Inkscape if you can do it there. The bow will have to be dealt with either by joing it to the main body or cutting a bow separately.

I pretty sure it is a copyright image so I cannot post the fixed file for you but if you run into trouble someone can answer specific questions. :)
