Moving registration marks

Post by tinakatz1 »

Trying to print2cut an invitation but when i go to print it its telling me the marks are off the mat. The image is just over 5x7 but the actual cut is 5x7. The top mark is fine and on mat but the lower right mark is off the mat. Why? It is set to the default 0.64 in preferences. I even ungrouped everything thinking something was super large and everything is fine. I shrunk the card to a 4x6ish size and that didn't even move the mark. Other things I made today, the marks are perfect. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I get that message all of the time because the outer lines of my registration marks are outside my printers print margin. I never change the material size in eCAL. I leave the eCAL setting at 12x12 and position my file where I know it will work. This is the message that I get.

Just click "Print" and it should print. I would test on some copy paper first to make sure that you have all three dots on your print (cut it down to size if you are only using a 5x7 paper/cs for the good print). The cross-hairs aren't really necessary. HTH
