Hello there,
Im new to this and have a couple questions!
Im starting to cut vinyl to make some stickers and Im not sure how its going to cut when i look at my design in "preview" mode.
Just by looking at my photo can someone tell me if the letters will be solid or if they will just be outlines? I figured out how to "weld" the baseball and the number together but will the baseball or the number be solid?? If these things arent solid how do i make it so that they are??
I cant seem to find online answers to my questions so im hopeing that someone on here can help me out.
Thanks so much!!
Sara

Welcome, I always "cut" my designs on paper or cardstock before trying the vinyl...it will give you a pretty good idea about what will happen. Another trick is to use contact paper...like you would put on kitchen shelves. It is cheap and works like vinyl would. I've had a decal cut with the contact paper on my truck for over two years.
Come on back it it doesn't cut right and you cannot figure out why. We are here to help, attach your file for a quicker response. Are you designing in scal or inkscape?

Thank you for messaging me so fast!!

Cool idea about using contact paper as well. That would be good on walls at home!! Ill look into that as well. Thank you for the tips. I will let you know about the paper. I am using just the SCAL2 program. Im not sure what inkscape is. I just need simple really, the SCAL2 seems pretty easy to use. Im just not sure how the cutting will go, and i like to see it before i actually hit the "cut" key!!
Thanks again!
