Re: Help ASAP
You wouldn't want to remove your security but you can disable it temporarily....then once you have whatever it is you're trying to install then just restart the program or restart your computer and it should automatically restart.......does that make sense???
Re: Help ASAP
So you want to turn off your security?
To do that you can usually just click on the icon for it and it will have a box that states it is enabled and you can uncheck that for a few minutes, and then go back and put the check mark back to turn it back on.
Or, you can go to Start and Control Panel and Security settings, and it should have a drop down box that says it is on, and click it to change it to off, and then go back and turn it on.
OR, go to Control Panel and Program files and find it and uninstall it...and then reinstall it after.
Usually security programs have HELP menus, where you can search and ask the question of how to turn it off temporarily.
You could even just search the question in google or some other search and then read what other people say as to how to turn of your particular type of security software.
Security programs usually have a page where you can add the names of installed programs to 'allow', also.
You have to inquire of your security company, as to how to add them there, if you wanted to.
