ISO a Keeshond
ISO a Keeshond
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm looking for a Keeshond svg. Head shot, full body, or both. Thank you in advance.

There are a couple of images here that seem like they would be simply to trace:

Hi & thank you very much!!
Though I'm looking for something more realistic, I'm definitely going to try getting some of these cut out as well. I'm creating a mini album that I will be donating for a Keeshond rescue fundraising event.

Hi Papasue, thank you for the P2C suggestion. I'm still trying to get that to work. I have a Cricut and it's not being very cooperative in doing P2C. Just a heads up in case anyone might not know, the image used in your suggestion isn't able to used because the AKC owns the copyright. Been down that road already. I was working on a Keeshond rescue project some years back, saw that picture on their website, contacted them asking permission to use the photo, they replied informing me I would not be allowed to use the photo because they hold the copyright. So glad I asked first out of curiosity. I was unfamiliar with copyright issues at that time. If I could get my Cricut to do P2C I have photos of my own Keeshonden I could use. I just get so frustrated with my Cricut not cooperating I gave up on it for a while & decided I would revisit it at a later date. I am open tips and suggestions regarding P2C....

If you have any good photos of one (no paws / tail cropped off or hidden in long grass etc) preferably taken against a plain background send a couple to louise(at)happyhousecats.co.uk and I will look at isolating the subject and creating a P&C file for you.

Re: ISO a Keeshond
Forgive me if I'm wrong....but you need to have the laser ability with a machine for the PNC to work......the Cricuts don't have a laser......So wouldn't you have to do more of the henge method of PNC rather then using the registration technique.....
Re: ISO a Keeshond
I pnc all the time with my E...I don't bother with calibrating, either. I do the hinge for ONE, and line up the printed page with the cut opening...note the difference in where the printed page lands on the mat...and I put some painters tape there...the offset is the same for any future print and cut, as long as I use that mat. Easy....now I just line up with the tape that is on the edges of the mat top and left.

Yes....Exactly...when I owned my Cricut that's exactly what I did....and it worked wonderful.......I was just clarifying that the other cutters mostly have the laser to allow the most common PNC technique to work......I used the henge method for years when I owned my Cricut.....
Re: ISO a Keeshond
I don't use the hinge method, except once...now my tape is my registration marks, and you are right...it works GREAT. So, if the requesting poster has this type of machine...she can do pnc, just fine.
