Cameo

Post by jfm722 »

Does anyone know if you can cut 12x24 paper with the new Cameo and SCAL? I am looking at purchasing a new machine and I like a lot about this machine but on occasion I do cut larger paper. Thanks for your help.

You should check the specs for the machine which should be listed on their website. Not sure which company makes it. If all else fails, google Cameo cutting machine.

I just impulsively jumped onto the Silhouette Cameo bandwagon. It was my intention to save up for the Black Cat Lynx, but I obviously have a self control issue. I can't believe I did this (shaking my head). Anyway, I digress. I have to be honest and admit that I haven't read all the specs, but I have a question about it being able to cut 10'. Is that only for vinyl? Can you cut paper without a mat? I guess this time I'm too lazy to do my own homework.

No, you can't cut paper without a mat, unless the paper has a separate backing (like vinyl).

The 10 feet is for anything, however, you would need a 10 foot mat to cut paper that long!
