Have you checked your settings... I have good luck with the pressure set to low and with the blade in position 3. I hope this helps.

I purchased a group of gnomes from My Scrapchick. The gnomes are really cute and they were much much cheaper than the cartridge.

letteringdelights.com has some rosette files, very reasonably priced. I purchased them but have not cut them yet; it looks like the score lines are marked but not perferated. hope this helps. Jeanette
