Suddenly yesterday I found that I can no longer bring jpgs or pngs into my SCAL2 or SCAL3 programs for tracing. I get a pop up Image Unvalid warning: "The image type is not supported". I believe the images are ok - I can trace them in MTC. Prior to yesterday I had no problems tracing. I re...

Re: Help cutting vinyl with cricut expression

Have you checked your settings... I have good luck with the pressure set to low and with the blade in position 3. I hope this helps.

Re: garden gnome

I purchased a group of gnomes from My Scrapchick. The gnomes are really cute and they were much much cheaper than the cartridge.

Re: rosette file

letteringdelights.com has some rosette files, very reasonably priced. I purchased them but have not cut them yet; it looks like the score lines are marked but not perferated. hope this helps. Jeanette

Re: Read MTC files

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear - I was posing the question actually as a wish for the wishlist. If MTC can read SCUT, is it possible to add a feature to SCAL to enable the software read MTC? Unfortunately I downloaded the demo MTC after the cricut drivers were deleted. Thank you both for your r...

Read MTC files

I was just playing with the demo MTC and I see that MTC can open SCUT files. Is it possible SCAL could open MTC files? Thank you. Jeanette

Re: UGH! MTC Settlement

I unpacked my new expression today and of course I was concerned about having to update the firmware, but it came with firmware 2.31. So I cabled it to my laptop and it works perfectly with both carts and SCAL. So now I just have to get all my scrapbooks done before my baby cricut and my new express...
