Craft Edge

Hi, I was working on a project in which I had three or four layers - all looked great - could turn layers on/off, etc. I then saved the project (SCAL2 file format scut) and when I opened it back up to work on it some more, I no longer have my layers. I click on the Window, Layers and I get nothing. ...

Still stumped. I'm attaching the file I'm trying to convert. I want to maintain the colors so that when I import it into SCAL I can show the different layers and print accordingly.

I am having a problem working with a jpg file. I've looked at several tutorials and still no luck. I've both imported and opened a jpg file in Inkscape but when I select it and then choose Path/Object to Path it says I have no selected object to convert to path. Help please.
