eCraft orientation when cutting from SCAL

Hi - I've had SCAL for years with my Cricut. I purchased the eCraft and love it so far. (thank goodness) however, is there a way to feed the paper where what you see on the mat is what it cuts? I am so confused. I place a letter on the mat and it does not cut anywhere near there. I am so used to wha...

Re: Word Book on Cricut?

I created a folder called "Love Book" (for example) and saved all the letters individually. You can save two pages per file if your mat size is 12x12. When you cut them out just have two separate papers on your mat so you don't have duplicate papers together in your book. I usually cut one...

Re: I'm Innocent I tell ya!!!!

Thank you for your reply. I was actually wondering how you get the colors of a jpg separated in inkscape. Is that easy for you to explain?

Thanks.

Re: I'm Innocent I tell ya!!!!

Can you tell me please how you separate the colors of a jpeg like that. I DL the file and there was a brown portion and a black portion. My question is how to get the two colors separated.

Re: GARDEN SIGN AND QUESTION

I wanted to add my two cents as to what I do to cut "anything" I want. Cropper is a free software that allows you to capture any portion or all of your screen. Find an image you want to cut (anything as long as it appears on your monitor), then with Cropper you can adjust the "capture...

lindao

1. click on the link
2. click save, and browse to where ever you are saving all your SCAL files
3. click ok
4. In SCAL, File, Open Project (instead of importing) - then just browse to where you saved it

Re: Word Book on Cricut?

I too made a word book. I knew I wanted it 12 inches in length. I had five letters so I started with 2x5 rectangle with a two inch letter welded onto. Then as the previous post suggested, I saved the first letter (so I could use it again and just change the letter), I added two inches to the rectang...

Re: Would be nice to have a Card category to share cards on.

yes it would be nice to set up a directory of topics for all the shared files. That way if you need something it is more organized to come and look. Some of the files that folks have share are very nice but the topic of the post would not lead you to what the file is.
