Mat Moving While Cutting

New to Cricut!! The mat is moving around while it is cutting. How do I stop this?

Are you trying to use a 6 x 12 mat in an Expression? If so that won't work unless you cut it down and insert it with the 13 inch side first.
If that's not the case then contact PC tech support as there is something wrong with your Cricut.

Thanks a lot. I am using a 6 X 12 in an expression. The mat will not go in the other way????

Just curious is all...Why are you using a 6x12 mat in the Expression? Is there something cool I don't know??

Us the 12 x 12 mat but in your Settings in Scal select mat size 6x12...

No, nothing cool, just new and really don't know what I am doing!!!! But, having fun learning. I did cut the mat and it works fine. I needed a new mat and the 6 X 12 is all Michaels had in stock.
