Layers

Two suggestions re the Layers Menu:

1) when a layer is hidden, it would be helpful if that layer becomes "locked" so that it is not accidentally moved while hidden

2) if an object is deleted, and it is the only object on a layer, it would be nice if that layer were deleted from the menu. if I'm pulling in several objects, but then deleting them because I decide I don't want them in the design, I end up with a whole slew of empty layers. This makes it confusing to tell which are the "active" layers and which aren't.
