Is there a trick to get the vinyl decals to stick on a window without bubbles underneath? I am trying to adhere a football helmet so there is a lot of surface area and I keep getting bubbles???

Are you using Transfer tape or Contact paper to transfer the vinyl to your window? What kind of vinyl are you using? Oracal 651 transfers really well. I had a more expensive Oracal vinyl that didn't transfer well at all. Bubbles everywhere.

The pros use a "wet" technique on vehicles where they spray the decal/transfer tape with a light coat of water (actually a special solution but water will work) before applying. The adhesive rides on the layer of moisture long enough for you to squeegee out both the water and the air bubbles. There are many videos on this online try the ones at sign warehouse for starters.

Can anyone tell me the ratio of thicknesses that the cricut will cut in heat transfer vinyl (or regular vinyl)? I ordered some yesterday and it cuts 3 of the pieces like a dream, but the glitter piece is heavier and either using the kiss cut settings (with medium pressure, 6 on blade) it doesn't cut it at all or if I switch to a heavier pressure (high) then it cuts too deeply and seperates the design. It's like I almost need a setting between medium and high on the cricut.
