I AM SO ANGRY THAT THERE IS NO HALLOWEEN CART FOR THE EXPRESSION
I have complained many times
Here is an image an artist friend made for me
I also plan to scan some Martha Stewart Halloween stamps to use as well

Re: FINALLY A PUMPKIN FOR HALLOWEEN
Why care about CARTS when you have SCAL? There are any number of fonts with Halloween themes on them for you to use and they are free. Also in the Board Index/.svg/holidays there are a bunch of really nice halloween themed files, also free.
Just "search" on this forum for witches, ghosts, pumpkins and you'll have more than you want I'd guess. if you find something anywhere and can post a .jpg or a png of it someone will help you make cut file of it.
Hope this makes you feel better

Re: FINALLY A PUMPKIN FOR HALLOWEEN
Darling! I would love to see one that has been cut to see what you did with the eyes.
Re: FINALLY A PUMPKIN FOR HALLOWEEN
Well I'd first make a black mat background or white since the eyes and mouth are going to cut out anyway.
I'd add orange ovals on the pumpkin to make eyes and do a path/union.
I'd join the stem to the background mat just to keep the cut simple.
I'd also do a union of the eyelashes to the eye sockets since right now they are separate again to get one clean cut.
Something like this.

Re: FINALLY A PUMPKIN FOR HALLOWEEN
How did you do the outline?
you adjust the measurement from SCAL not on the expression
cut a black pumpkin the an orange pumpkin smaller????

The short version: select all of your artwork, Control D. If there is more than 1 piece use Path/Union, then Path/Outset. Press the end key to send the mat behind the original artwork and click on a different color for better visibility. If you would like a bigger mat use Path/Outset again. Use the node tool to delete any interior holes you don't want or stray nodes.
If you want more control over your mat size: select your artwork, use Control D. If there is more than 1 piece use Path/Union. Use Control J to make a dynamic offset. Click on a color for visibility, then click on the small white square at the top of the artwork and drag it away from the artwork. When it is the size that you want, Path/Object to path. Use the node tool to delete any interior nodes.
