Looking for SVG Viewer

Post by deerushforth »

Looking for a program to view SVG's rather than clicking on them one at a time or having to go thru the time making a .jpeg of each of them. Would even like the possibility of being able to print them out in a catalog format? Is there such a program out there? What are you using??????????? :|

With Vista, I haven't found a program that will work. It just leaves an IE logo which I have to click on, which opens up a blank page which says "to help protect your security,IE explorer has restricted the web page from running scripts or Active X controls that could access your computer. Click here for options." When I do that, I have to allow blocked content and then get another message saying "do I want to run this program " and after I click yes, my image shows up. this is after I downloaded the http://www.examotion.com/ which worked fine on XP but not on Vista. Of course I might be doing something wrong. I downloaded: Microsoft® Internet Explorer® Plugin, Windows® Thumbnail Plugin and Standalone Player from the examotion web site.

I think that Firefox can be used as a viewer for svg files. Haven't tried it yet, but since I haven't been happy with Chrome lately I might give it a try...

I use the Examotion viewer and I think its amazing. I have Vista and I have no problems at all . I love that when i go to import an svg the picture is right there.
Keep in mind when you download it wait a day or so and then right click and view medium icons and amazingly! they are there. It took a few days for mine to actually finish indexing them I guess( I have a ton of files) but now I'm spoiled and I want someone to come up with one for the Cricut files.
Have a Great Day!!!!!

You are awesome grammakd! I was forever frustrated about not being able to see what my SVG was without opening it. The examotion viewer is exactly what I was after. I have Vista and it works perfectly. :D

Hi Everyone:
I was looking through my SVG's this morning and I noticed that my CRICUT files
are starting to view now also. I was hoping someone would come up with a cricut
viewer and WOW the RENISIS does it ALL!!!!
This is SO COOL!!!! I can see what I have instead of opening each one.
I wish I had time to play today!

Have a Great Day!!!!

Do you have Vista 32 bit? I installed it on my vista 64 bit 3 weeks ago, and nothing has yet to show up. Just curious if you were running another vista...
