How long....

Post by vellumx »

before I get my serial number. I upgraded about 30 minutes ago with PayPay and should be getting an email with a serial number..So I assume. Guess I'm just anxious to play with my new software. What sold me was not having to mess with Inkscape..Something that I was getting frustrated with...lol..

Yes, I did. I use the 'spam' folder with embarqmail for those emails I don't want clogging up my outlook. I received the code to order, but that was it.

If you use a different e-mail for Paypal, check that one. I believe someone reported that they send the activation code to the e-mail that is used for your Paypal account. HTH

I got it!!..thanks bunches..

Now, I'm trying to figure out how to get a screen that easy to work with. I want to see the whole 12x12 and I can't. I can't even see the whole 6x12. I came back here to see if there was a video on using this program. I did see the one, guess I'll find that..

any suggestions is aways appreciated!

My screen proeprties are set at 50% so I can see the whole 12 x 12 screen - it is just smaller. I can zoom in when I need to do closer up work but can see the whole screen otherwise.

I used two different blog sites which had video tut's on it which I found really helpful

http://svgcuts.com/blog/?p=2231

http://dan99.blogspot.com/search/label/video

They were created quite early on but I don't think much will have changed from the new updates we have now in SCAL2 - but both of these will give you a good headstart.

I find having SCAL2 open and watching a bit of one video and then pausing it and doing it myself on SCAL2 works really well for me, then go back to the video for the next bit and recreate that myself and so on...

Enjoy!
