need help with scal2-----repositioning

I need help. When I type a letter or import a picture, the only way to move it is with the little numbers in the chart in the right hand corner of the screen. My item has the motion areas around it but when I click on them and try to move like I did in scal 1 they dont move. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Sarah

Hi Sarah, you need to click the arrow on the tools menu then you get the motion areas you spoke of

I also am having the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas? I have the select arrow highlighted and the arrows show around my selection but I'm not able to manipulate it by using the surrounding arrows. I have to use the size windows also.
