Yes it is $30, for a short time only, but so worth it!! You'll kick yourself if you wait to buy it until you see what others are doing and then it's full price.
I have not had time to check out all the new features, someone does have a video posted though, so you need to check it out yourselves, but do it before the price inreases.
This sounds great, and I will buy the upgrade since I don't think that I could live without SCAL.
My question is this. I bought the first version of SCAL for $75.00, now I am going to spend $30.00 more on the upgrade? Okay I guess that sounds fair, but for those who haven't yet bought the original version of SCAL they can get the new and improved version for $75.00? Am I missing something?

So glad to see that someone else has worked that out! I too bought the upgrade yesterday, but with the lousy Aussie Dollar the original purchase cost me $98 Australian and now another $37 Australian, to see that people can just buy the full upgraded version now for the same cost I paid 6 months ago. Hmmm quite bizarre. Hardly seems fair quite frankly. But that's just my opinion of course
LOL Christine, haven't even had a chance to play with it, just hoped and prayed it was going to be worth the money lol. I'm sure it will be eventually, the previous version was great and still way better than buying overpriced cartridges so I suppose I can't be too critical Cheers Kris
Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!! I just downloaded last night but was too tired to play. This morning I got up and traced a tree! Easy as pie. I could never do the inkscape thing...I'm inkscape impaired. I may work on figuring out how to layer today. This upgrade was worth the $30.
I'm with the other first posts here.. Paid the price for the first version now they want another 30 for the upgrade .. I just bought mine at the end of May.. and now will pay 105 total with the first and second version and newbies get it for 75?? Hardly fair at all... and yes being Canadian it costs me more just like our Aussie friends.. with their crappy dollar.
It's still 30 dollars... Check on their homepage.. The full version which includes the upgrade already is 75.00.. If you already have he Scal then the upgrade is 30 dollars..
