When I try to cut anything from SCAL the cricut cuts out three straight lines and then cuts out the shape
which means that the shapes or letters are all in three pieces. Please Help!!!!

this does happen in the trial version of Scal. Is that what you are using

Yes once you get the full version all will be wonderful, no lines. Actually I thought it was pretty wonderful even with the lines. I had such a wonderful time learning it.
