It's not too often that I feel like a genius when I'm trying to troubleshoot problems on the computer but today I do. I was getting an error message on SCAL when clicking cut. I tried everything but then noticed that on the opening window when trying to cut the firmware version said 1.3 but my Cricut said 1.1. I just clicked on the correct box and it's now working. Hooray
