New machine, which link should I use to download cds trial?

My old machine which I had less than a month was tearing paper and couldn't be fixed. (It never worked properly with scal) PC is sending me a new one, and I want to get it right from the get go. So..... should I uninstall cds and reinstall? If so, where should I install from heard the one on scal's download page isn't the one to use which is the one I believe I have now. What about firmware, I am reading that there is an update, should I do this? Any help is appreciated.

Hang tight! I can't answer all your questions except maybe one: Don't do the most current update that PC is offering until we hear more from Todd (designer of SCAL).

I believe Todd can provide you with the link you need. It's the original CDS trial.(And I believe the update that's coming if not already out for the new carts will not enable SCAL to work.)
