Short cut key for selecting

Hi Everyone.....I'm new to the forum and wanted to ask about a keyboard shortcut for the selecting tool. That seems to be the one that I consistently need to go back to. Would be great to have a shortcut key.

Wow....I am surprised that no one else is interested in a short cut key. Or did I post in the wrong place???
