tips on files and dimension-measurements please
I save a ton of files..and lots of people add which (I LOVE!!) a little note lots of times that say "I cut this at so and so" and it worked perfect or this size will fit the frame right...or if it goes with other images something works perfect...but my question is how do you guys keep it all straight?? I have thought of making a note to my self but...i would have thousands of little post-it notes everwhere! Is there some easy way or great idea im just missing??? Any input has to be better than my thousand post-it notes everywhere!! thanks

If it's specific to a file, I just type it off to the side in Inkscape or SCAL. Then when I go to cut, it's typically off to the side enough that I just move the notes off of the cuttable area.

If you type the notes in your file in Inkscape but never convert them to path, they will stay with the file and show up when you open it, but will not cut.

Hi All,
I add the demension to the file name. For example I would name a file nugget box 11.020 X 11.500. I just select all in inkscape or whatever design pogram I used, note the size and added to the file name. Makes for a long name but it works for me.
