Can anyone make this into an svg file? Easter egg Basket

Post by bstreeter »

This easter egg basket is super cute, but I can't figure out how to convert the image.
It is a png file. Is there any way to do that??

Yes you can. You need to import the png into inkscape and do trace bitmap think and then clean up all the extra nodes. If you are not comfortable with inkscape you can post the png file here unless of course it is a copyrighted file that precludes you doing that.

Or you can send it to me via PM and I'll do it and PM it back to you.

I have links to free easter basket patterns from several artists on my blog:

The file is already attached to my first post. If you right click, you can "save file as..." I *think*
I have spent an hour or so trying to get this to work, with no luck, so if you could get it working I would be so grateful!

The lines are too broken to get a good trace. You are either going to have to use the bezier tool or the paint bucket, or a combination of the two.
