Multi cut not working properly

I tried using my multi cut today and the first time i cut with it it worked great, the second cut not so great. It didn't cut on the lines but outside of them. I only have the baby bug not the expressions does this make a difference? Do you think I need to contact Todd and if you think I do what is his e-mail address. Thanks kate
