My machine was working fine the last time I cut something, but now when I try to cut anything, it cuts on the wrong part of the mat. Fir example, it is set to cut on the top left, but it will cut on the top right (but not just a mirror image...it will also be like it tried to flip it the other way as well, so I am really having difficulty doing anything at all. I have updated Cricut's firmware (Expression) and uninstalled/reinstalled SCAL 2.030.. I have also updated drivers and rebooted both machines.
Like I said, no settings have been altered, it just started doing this randomly. Any help would be great! A cute yet hopefully helpful hand drawn example is attached.

Looks like you have SCAL set to cut in landscape more versus portrait mode. Change the setting below to vertical (I'm guessing) versus horizontal as shown:
