Default Mat Size?

After I start SCAL (Mac) and move windows around, select my mat size to 12x12 and then create my project. Save the file and exit SCAL. Now when I come back into SCAL my little windows still seem to be where I put them, but the mat size reverts back to 6x12. Is there a way to set the default mat size or is it just normal to have to select the mat size each time you start the software?

I haven't found a way either. It would be lovely if the mat size could be retained from one session to another. Do you want to post this in the "Wish List"?

I have already posted that in the wish list I think as I would like it to stay on my default also.

Thanks to both of you! This is a BIG pet peeve of mine. Every time I open SCAL, and then open a 12x12 project I STILL have to readjust the size of the mat. OK - so I'm kindof anal!
