Okay, I had a CDS last year for just a couple months before my computer crashed, and with that also lost my activation code for my design studio. Now I'm trying out the free trial of SCAL to see if we are going to buy it, but I have been downloading images from all the websites like I did with the CDS and now can't open them in the SCAL.
This is probably a really stupid question, but how do I convert the files so they will appear on SCAL?

Re: Need help downloading...
What sort of images are you downloading?
If you are donloading jpg's then they will have to be converted in Inkscape.
If you are downloading .svg files then IMPORT them into SCAL
If you are downloading .scut files then OPEN in SCAL
If you are downloading .cut files (Criuct files) they won't work in SCAL at all.

I would check out the video tut that we made. It may help you out. Shows the steps from getting the image (JPG GIF...etc) converting to SVG in Inkscape and importing it into SCAL.
