It amazes me, the things that can be done with SCAL! Here's my latest completed project,
I wanted to etch a mirror as a gift for my husband who lost his brother this past July in a car accident, With the help of a tutorial by Susan Chong (found here http://www.theartfulmama.blogspot.com Thanks to Tingha Treasures for telling me about the blog!) I was able to take a photo, draw it, and convert it into a svg file. then cut out a stencil to etch on my mirror. It turned out better than i imagined, i am extremely happy with it!
Here are a few photos. It's a little hard to photograph a mirror. so the photo isn't that great...

- This is the origional photo of my dear brother in law.. the top of his head and hat were cut off of the photo, so i had to draw them in myself..

This is a wonderful tribute!! I love this idea! My husband likes to etch mirrors, so I showed him this. We are really excited to try this technique! Thank you so much for sharing!
