ecal plus cartridge question
ecal plus cartridge question
does the ecal program import the cartridges in the eclips controller so you can see how they are placed on the mat. Can't quite work out how to cut the different pieces in different colours if I cant see where they are on the mat. Help
Re: ecal plus cartridge question
Welcome,
You don't use the controller or the cartridges at all with eval.
With ecal you can use any jpg, png or svg file that you get from the internet (other folks Blogs and such) or from this forum.
Have you tried using eCAL without the controller plugged in? If you need some video's to help you get started with eCAL...there are a few around depending on what type of files you want to work with.

Re: ecal plus cartridge question
Thanks I have used the eclips with the ecal software not a problem but I bought the albums bags and boxes cartridges and thought I was able to view these from the ecal program if they were in the machine. (With the ecraft you can import other file types but you can see what is in each SD card as well, with the Cricut you can see what is on each cartridge but not cut files other than cricut ones and only if you own them) I have managed to work out how to use the controller and the cartridges but I would have liked to be able to manipulate where the images cut on the page. Also some images are grouped on the cartridges and I would have put them in different colours. I am very spoilt having a number of diecutting machines and I do love them all but I am a papercraft die cutting junkie always wanting more. Thanks for the replypapasue wrote:Welcome,
