Cut file

Post by cowboyzfan72 »

Can someone PLEASE help??? I have been trying to make a cut file (SVG) of a chef picture I have, and after 7 days I give up. I have Inkscape and SCAL, but I cannot do it. If someone is really good at inkscape, and they are willing, I would be so appreciative if they can try to make this into a cut file. I keep getting double lines and no matter how much I read, I cannot figure out how to get rid of them...Thanks in advance

Are you going to cut this and piece it? Because without a lot of modifying it will cut into a lot of pieces. The reason I ask is because I can see two ways to handle this.

So you will use just one color with minimal pieces?

Here is what I have so far. Let me know what you think. It still needs more simplification of the nodes around the face.

This came out great in vinyl. There are a lot of little pieces, so using transfer tape (or clear contact paper, which is what I used) helps alot...Enjoy
