HI, Newbie here!

Post by stefanyb123 »

Hi,everyone. I am a newbie to this board and just wanted to say thanks for all the great files and tips and tricks I have gotten from here! I just got my Expression for Christmas, but I am rockin it! Already! I bought a few carts with Christmas money, but I probaly won't buy anymore. I have downloaded and used a lot of the svg files from here and am currently learning to use Inkscape.

I do have a question, though. Why is this board not busier than it is? I figured it would be very busy, SCAL is the best thing since sliced bread! Do they just not "get it"? Or so you think that a lot of people are scared to try it? Because it sounds a lot more high tech and complicated than it is. Well, it is pretty high tech and complicated, but super easy to learn and use.

SCAL stands for S ure C uts A L ot. Many are confused on that at first. No biggie!
I think this board is pretty busy, but I don't really go to the Cricut or any other boards so I'm not really sure.
I like that I can "View New Posts" whenever I get the chance and keep up to date on most info that way.

I also think it's about to get busier, as I have seen several new posters who got Cricut's &/or SCAL for Christmas!! Welcome!!

I LOVE this site, I also go to the view new posts every time I visit. There are just enough posts to keep me going but not so many that things get lost with my small amount of time.
Welcome to all the newbies, it is an AWESOME program with TONS of talented people here to help.
