I have made a small simple word book. Hope you like it! To make the two-color book you can either place different colored paper in the appropriate places on you mat, or, if you want to make two books - just print two 12x12 sheets in different colors and then exchange the top-layer letters. I punched the holes after I cut (you can see they're a bbit crooked), but if you want holes you could just as easily add small circles to the file to pre-cut the holes.

Re: HOPE word book
Great book!!
I tried this, but the blade didn't go through my chipboard even though I cut 4 times.
It's my first attempt at chipboard. Do I need a special blade?
Thanks

I need help with chipboard too. I bought the deep blade and housing unit and it didn't work...made an AWFUL noise, so I had to use cereal boxes and the backs of pads of paper with my regular blade set on 6 and double cutting. I'm mad the deep blade didn't work, help please

Re: HOPE word book
I started mine and I used old present boxes from Christmas. I've also been told that cereal boxes work as well. They are both not as thick as chipboard. I don't have a place to buy chipboard so I have to improvise... My problem now is I can't figure out how to get the letters the right size to layer on top...
