Expression and SCALv1

I have the original expression and SCAL v1. When I go to cut something in SCAL it will go through say loading mat etc and then say cut is complete when it doesn't cut. I've turned off both computer and cricut etc and can't seem to get it to work. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear you are still struggling with getting things to work. There is not a lot of response anymore about v1, and if you have the E2(you had inquired about that before)no scal software will work with it.

If you have the original E, then it could be a registration issue...that you can only get so far and then it won't work.
Or, you have updated firmware in the cutter.

I know you said the USB plug and cord were fine...but had trouble with some .svgs not opening.

Honest...I know it is a shame...but upgrading to a new machine and software seem the best solution. You would get the support and the machine and software would work together. Most who have run into problems have chosen to move on to something different since there is no more support for that cutter. I'm sorry you have had a difficult time...I know it can be frustrating, but there is not really anything anyone here can do. You could contact support, but not sure that will do any good since the software is so outdated.
