Help with laser on eclips/ecal

I am trying to use the laser feature for the first time on my new eclips. The laser does not light up. I have tried it through eCAL and with the hand held controller - any suggestions? Do I need to turn something on? In eCAL I did push the 'laser on' button. I've tried to google the answer and can not find anything. I am crafting the day away with my new eclips - my first "real" day I've had to play since I got it. Would LOVE to know how to get this print and cut feature to work with the laser. Thanks in advance for any help!

I would contact customer support. AS far as I know the laser should just work when you press the correct button on ecal or on the hand controller. I have never had a problem with mine. Good luck with your new machine.
