I am having the hardest time getting my images to cut in the same place on the actual mat as they are on my screen mat. If the image is on the top right corner of the screen mat, my cutter will cut the image in the center of my actual mat. If I start moving the image on the screen around and trying to cut again, I get all kinds of weird placements! I have checked my mat size and it is correct. I have tried landscape and portrait settings and still get weird placement. Am I missing something?!?! Help!
I am using a Black Cat Cougar and Sure Cuts A Lot v.3.
Thanks!

Re: Difference in Screen and Mat Image Placement?
Shooting in the dark here, but check your paper size for printing. There's some kind of interplay between the mat size and paper size that is a bit confusing.
When cutting 8 1/2" x 11" paper, I always tell SCAL I'm using an 8 1/2" x 11" mat even though I really use a 12" mat.

Re: Difference in Screen and Mat Image Placement?
I figured out the problem. The Cougar is set up to cut with the mat all the way to the right, but SCAL is center aligned. I marked my table so the mat will be aligned with SCAL's center. It's working out well and I am wasting a lot less vinyl and paper now.
