Hello,
Okay so I'm slowly getting up to speed on all the changes with SCAL and the implications - ie what i can use and what I can't. Thanks to everyone that is helping me understand!
I have an Expression - bought a couple years back. I had a baby cricut but got rid of it when I got the Expression - now wish i had kept it to use for cakes! I'd like to pick one up - seems that many places including Michael's is selling them off cheap. So my question is if I get on of these, does anyone know what firmware they likely have on them (and this if they will work with SCAL 2)? Is there anyway to know other then buying one and bringing it home and plugging it in?
Thanks!

Re: new baby cricut question
Thanks a bunch! It appears my firmware version is 2.43.. so with that I assume that it will not be compatable with sure cuts a lot.. It is an expression.. Maybe I should just try the software to see if it works.

Re: new baby cricut question
Mindy, I had the same question since I got my cricut in Sept, but I googled it and the 2.43 firmware is comparable with Scal 1 or 2. Let me know if you found somewhere to get it. Here is where I found the info
