Give this a try...be sure to ungroup it for the base layer.

Thanks so much for your help but I can't get the hands and wings to cut right. Is there anything else that can be done to it? thanks.

The image was not a real clear one to trace so the hands were tricky. I worked on straightening out the wings as the nodes were not all connected. Will take a look at it again and see if I can do something with the hands.

Here is another one. Tried to fix up the hands and moved a few nodes around in the wings. Hope this works better. I don't have time to try and cut it tonight so let me know how it works.

Hi Sandy, thanks so much for working on it again. The wings and the one hand are so much better. the last little issue is with the front hand, it won't cut right. I really appreciate all your help. I wish I knew how to do it myself.

Which hand...the front right or the left hand. I did some adjustments to the right hand. They just don't trace well and I had to manually make some changes, but I'll try to straighten it out for you so its better if possible.

Hi Sandy, the front right one. The other hand is good.

The right hand is a tough one because of how it is formed. Tried it one more time just to make it look somewhat decent. If this doesn't work, maybe someone else can give it a try.
