Can anyone explain to me how to import my svg files from a desktop folder into my SCAL library? TIA!

Go to the CraftEdge website http://www.craftedge.com/download/download.html and click on the Downloads menu option. Download SCAL Lib It Up to put up to 10 SVG files in a single library folder. I think that is the only option for putting SVG files into an SCAL recognizable home.

Once you have downloaded the 'SCAL lib it up file', open the file and you will see the main file menu box.

Click 'Add File' or 'Add Folder' icon.

Find the SVG file on your computer and highlight the file.

Click on 'Open'

The file will then show on the main box under Name.

Delete 'My Library' from the 'Library Name' box and insert the name of the file you have imported. (If you do not rename, the file will show as 'My Library')

Click on 'Export'.

The 'Browse for Folder' will appear.

Find the SCAL programme (Craft Edge) on your Computer, and Open the programme.

Highlight 'Sure Cuts a Lot' and not ' SCAL lib it up'.

Press 'OK'

and Bingo! You will see the 'Export Complete message' and your file will appear in the Library. Close the Export box.

Open SCAL, click on SHAPES in the Library box and your file will show on the Preview box. Click on the shape and it will appear on the main cutting mat frame.

Hope this helps.
