I would like to convert this picture to a SVG file? I am fairly new and am not getting very far. Has anyone seen an SVG with swirls similar? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Converting File...Help Please
If you don't use inkscape the quickest easiest way I know of is to convert it here
http://convert.neevia.com/pdfconvert/
from a pdf to a jpeg and then you can trace it in scal
I sure hope this helps if not give a holler and I or some one else will do what we can for you

I really liked the pattern, so traced my own copy and put a frame around it.

Re: Converting File...Help Please
Inkscape is a free drawing program. One of the things you can do is import images and "Trace Bitmap" to create a usable svg file...(there are a few more steps but you get the idea). Some things can be done in Scal2 but I only have Scal1 so I've always done my editing in Inkscape anyway.Jmm pottery wrote:Thank you ladies!!!!! I can't wait to use it. I have a number of tutorials on features of Inkscape and a link to a very helpful forum called Inkscape Cutting Design which has lots of wonderful info on using this great software! Thanks for sharing the image!
@pastda3 - Your version looks great! Looks like iron scrollwork.
