Todd, Please update us on Firmware/SCAL problem

Todd, please update us on the latest CDS update and SCAL. I know you are probably busy working on it, but there is SO much confusion as to what works with what right now, people are very very confused. It's been a month now since the first firmware update came out that screws up SCAL. However, most of us also have CDS and want to download/install the latest version so we have all our carts in it. Basically, we want what we had in February & March--SCAL AND CDS working. We know PC isn't going to address this issue (because i have zero doubt that they did this on purpose) so it's up to you to reverse engineer and find the loophole. Can you please update us as to the status of finding the loophole and getting SCAL working with the new CDS/Firmware?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! I can't live without SCAL but I have purchased 2 new Cricut carts that I would love to use with CDS. I am on the verge of purchasing another Cricut just so I can have the best of both worlds - even if they are both located in the "poor house"!

Thanks for anything you can do - you know we all LOVE SCAL - and we all LOVE you for creating it.

I too am on the verge of buying another Cricut to keep one just for the SCAL. I find myself enjoying SCAL more and more but I still want to be able to use my CDS as well.

I hope that it can be updated so both will work because I am not willing to keep flipping the filmware!

Maybe try emailing Todd or support directly for an update? Maybe he doesn't read these boards all that often.

Has anyone heard anything yet? There were some great new improvements to the DS software that I would like to be able to keep and use the SCAL.
