I am looking for a Baby minnie svg file for my grandchilds 1st Birthday, can any one Help

As part of the forum rules we are not allowed to post copyrighted material.
However SCAL 2 is a great tool and allows you to trace just about anything.
I encourage you to watch the Trace Image video here http://www.craftedge.com/tutorials/#19 and the working with layers video also. They will guide you in achieving a cut file of your image.
I had a quick look and these are the settings that I got a reasonable cut file. You will notice that the outline is not the smoothest but with a little bit of node editing it smoothed up nicely. If you have any problems with the tracing or node editing just ask and one of us should be able to help you out.
Here is a quick movie tutorial, NO SOUND, on how to clean up the trace using node editing. One of the easiest ways to delete a node is to click on it so it turns blue then press the Backspace button on your keyboard. Thats is what I have done in the movie when you see some of the node disappear.
