a way to change image shape?

Hi everyone-

I have this great graduation file that is a sillouette (a straight line of graduates). . .I am wanting to put the cut file on a cup so I need to sort of curve the file so it goes on the cup straight. Is there a way to curve the image (just the slightest amount) in SCAL?

Have you tried doing it in Inkscape in path effect editor...you can bend it.
