Located under Cutter at the top...then Calibrate
On my mat the print and cut settings seemed right on 0 along the X(adjusts the edge that feeds into the cutter) and off by a quarter inch by the Y(top edge of mat), for paper placement.
So, I started at X:0 and Y: 25
I ended at X: 6 and Y: 37 for a perfect print and cut with my cardstock right on the mat lines as they should be.
I have my preference on Illustrator, and the scaling on the cricut I changed to inches by 1/10ths.
I did a hundred zillion tests to get to this...hope it helps someone.
Every time SCAL is reopened for P&C this has to be reset.
Note: when I was doing the TEST cuts to try to arrive at these numbers, I changed mat size to 12x12, and checked cut offsets.
But once I got the numbers that worked for me...I don't change that now. I just enter the 6 and 37 and hit OK.

Thanks for this. I am going to try this when I get home. My cuts were off about the same as yours, so hopefully 6 and 37 will be the magic numbers.

Thanks for the info. Going out of town this weekend so won't have time to "play"
but I will give this a try when I get back.

Looks like my settings are going to be 6 and 18 - have a screenshot on my blog of the settings and the resulting cut.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. So the units appear to be 1/100ths of an inch.
Anyone messed with the scale settings?

I didn't need to make that adjustment - the cut track across and down correctly once I got the right settings.

Our machine likes Y Offset: 20, X Scale: 3.0.
I did a print & cut paper toy that came out very nice. I'll try to post a pic soon.
Yes, having to reset it every time is a big

Re: Calibrate Cricut in SCAL 2.041 settings
My E has been really out. Have managed to calibrate at
x = 0
y = 32
x scale = -3.00
y scale = 0.00
Looked ok on the test paper on the mat until I went to do a print and cut, printed the pic, placed in correct position on mat, set the calibration and cut but still way off
It would appear to be a problem with the horizontal scale but each time I do a test cut it all lines up with the grid at the above settings.
Think I will carry on with the hinge method for the time being
x = 0
y = 32
x scale = -3.00
y scale = 0.00
