I must say, I am a Mac User First, but I am now going to buy scal for my pc that is inside my mac running parallels 6 here is why.
I can run any program i want that is on my pc from my Ipad. I am playing around with inkscape now since it is free. Soon will be geting SCAl for PC.

I guess I'm confused. So you can run SCAL on an IPAD. How do you get the information to the Cricut once you have completed a project? You still need your computer if you are only emulating the program.

So it would be designing away from home perhaps, and then return to the main computer for cutting. I see, still VERY COOL.

Yes still not able to cut directly from ipad or iphone, but still able to work on the files, and maybe show people what there custom design( I currently use inkscape and scal ro creat custom stencils for airbrushing. I do alot of event were people wander what ther custom design might look like, I am now able to show them from where ever I am.

But maybe this is a step in the right direction for the scal team.

So dear Professor are you saying that you CANNOT run Inkscape from the Mac on your iPad, just from your PC? If so where can I go to get more information. I'd love to play with Inkscape on my Mac when I travel since I don't have a laptop.

Yeah, Professor, we need more info. Is this a jailbroken IPad? I'm guessin so if it can run stuff from a PC but not from a Mac (boo hoo). What app is this?
Oh, and I'd lobby Todd for a free trial non-time limited trial version since you already own the Mac version and you can't cut anyway.

Ok, I really don't know anything about this cuz I don't have an iPad but ProLooney got my attention. It looks like you could do the same think with the Mac version with an app called logmein
