need help please if anyone can for windows 7 and XP mode

I have just loaded my new laptop with windows 7 professional and on the side of the box it says to get the XP mode to go to the microsoft site and download it acknowledges i have the right windows software for the xp download but when we click download nothing happens.
Any one got any advice please.
