Think I found problem. How to fix?

I think I've found the problem but have no idea why its doing it, or how to fix it. When I open a file, play around with it (or even start a new file for that matter), I normally save it so that the zoom is at 50%. When I open the file again (and this is also happening with files I haven't used in a while) the zoom shows 100%. Everything looks fine on the mat. BUT.....If I make changes, save, close, and re-open that same file, the items on the mat are showing at 100% but the mat still shows at 50%. Before I save I have to once again change the zoom from 100 to 50%.

Anyone have any idea as to why the zoom is changing to 100% when I save it at 50%. I`ve checked all the preferences to see if I have something checked that shouldn`t be but didn`t see anything.

I`ve followed all the advice given on here so far.....uninstall, download, install, set as administrator, disable firewall, disable anti-virus protection, change compatibility to XP, etc.

I`ve emailed Craftedge as well so hopefully someone can help me - soon!

In the program above your virtual map click on window then on workspace and try setting up your workspace from there that might keep it from changing on you all the time

mine does the same thing - I just click on view then actually size then readjust however I really wanted it - didn't think anything about it until I read your post

I'm just really thankful it is now cutting where I have everything set

Butterfly, setting up my workspace makes no difference. Thanks anyway. I haven`t tried cutting since this problem started. Good grief, I may have no hair left if I can`t cut on top of everything else.
