Deleting nightmare

I am trying to use my SCAL and getting used to the new version...
for some reason I have a page showing at the top of my mat.
I try to delete it and it comes up with another page 1 number higher
than the previous one...what am I doing wrong? What did I hit by
mistake???

The page numbers are like tabs, letting you work on multiple "pages". The page number 1 will return as default after closing SCAL then reopen. You will always have page one showing, if you want a second page click on the green plus + sign right next to page 1 tab, a pop up will ask ok or cancel for page 2, same thing for a page 3 ect. I am terrible at explanations, hope you understood what I said, lol.
